Charlene Ann Baumbich entertains and rejuvenates her audiences and readers with side-splitting humor, uncommon wisdom and passionate insights. Whether you're tuning into her live or in print, fasten your seatbelt … it's a wild, fun, provocative, heart-warming ride!
Charlene is a born communicator who delivers her messages with eclectic flair and isn't afraid to laugh at her own relatable shortcomings. Her evaluation sheets and e-mails are full of raves like, "Do you LIVE in my closet? You know my life so well!"

Her most popular topic, as well as her passionate driver, is Don't Miss Your Life! Through her innate gift of storytelling, Charlene renders thought-provoking instruction on the importance of building your own memory portfolio. She challenges listeners to find and hold close the goodness in life that surrounds them, and prescribes liberal doses of play, the enchantment of perspective, giving yourself license to laugh at yourself and the art of listening to your own stories.

Charlene is wife to George (her complete opposite since she's an ACTIVATOR! and he's an engineerenough said?); mom to grown sons Bret and Brian (who don't need mothering any more wahoo!); novelist; nonfiction author; award-winning journalist; AND (drum roll please) she was a 1996 Celebrity Judge for White Castle Hamburgers' Fifth Annual Cravetime Recipe Contest! (Hey! That's gotta be worth somethingeven if nothing else has impressed you yet!)
But if you still aren't impressed, not even after the White Castle stuff, here are a few more tidbits.
• Charlene is old enough (and of course wise enough) to take the 55 Alive driving class offered by AARP, and has.
• As a high school 4-H member,
Charlene showed Victoria Illustrious Queensdale the Third, her shorthorn heifer, at the DuPage County fair and captured Reserve Grand Champion. (When she was ten, she won most unusual pet in the pet parade with her catfish named Catfish.) She used to ride in barrel races. She has owned two motorcycles, survived two car crashes, menopause and parenting. These things prepared her to risk the podium.
• She's been speaking for more than a dozen years and has only had to sit down in the middle of a talk once. It wasn't in Canada or on Cayman Brac Island, and it wasn't in New Hampshire or Oregon, Minnesota or Florida. But she has spoken in those places, and many more.
• She yells at her computer.
• She believes in what she talks about and it shows.
• She's fascinating.
• She is a baptized, Bible-reading (not thumping), Christ-believing, Wild Child of God.
• She assures you she knows how to tailor her talk so it is audience appropriate, i.e. when to not be spiritual (in a Christian way), and when to be spiritual enough (as in John 10:10, can I hear a big AMEN!).
